In one hand, genetically-modified food are resistant against insects, and herbicide. There are cheaper than the other food.
In the other hand, genetically-modified food can that insects being more resistants. The agricultures buy all years the plant at the companies, that they have the rights of this products. Other disadvantages is plants can transmit their genes to other plants and create uncontolled disturbances and occurence of allergies in consumers.
Finally, I think genetically-modified food have good things and have bad things for the humans.
