Egypt

Egypt is a country in the north-east of Africa. There was a big civilisation which made the pyramids and believed in gods such as Ra, Osiris or Set. They made rituals which they had to be finished before the Sun goes down to the darkness.

They were a developed civilisation. They studied mathematics, geometry and they were very organized with a big knowledge

All country is surrounded by sand, but there is the biggest river in the world: the Nile.
It travels around 4,000 miles long and all the people grew vegetables and plants.
The Nile is the gift of Egypt.
One of the most amazing things is pyramids. They are made by blocks of stone which can weight 50,000 kilograms or more. They are more than 500 feet height.
Pyramids were used for a link between the sky and the Earth and they were the tombs of the pharaohs. Moreover they hid important treasures and food for the travel to arrive at the sky.

But then appeared the robbers, they looted the treasures so pharaohs decided to build tombs where people couldn’t see, but they were also looted.
The only tomb which wasn’t looted was Tutankhamen’s tomb. It was discovered in 1933 by Howard Carter and it had wonderful things.

Nile born in Burundi and flows into the Mediterranean Sea. It has got six hundred kilometres, and the White Nile and the Blue Nile are their afluents. In its river, the most danger animals like cocrodiles, live in.

Egypt is also known for its pyramids because there were the pharaon's tomb. A very interesting one, is the Tutankhamen's tomb. That pyramid was found in 1922 and it contains the most age treasure never found. The mummy of Tutankhamen was surronded by a gold treasure and other antiquities with valuables. All of this were in the tomb, because the egypcian people believed that there was another life after the death, and the family had to put all the wealth of dead in his tomb. Nowadays, Egypt is visited for people from all the parts of the Wolrd, and it is an interesting country to go.

The Arab Republic of Egypt (in Arab: it is a country of Africa, placed in his extreme north-east, and includes the peninsula of the Sinai (that belongs to the Asian continent). Most of his surface it integrates the desert of the Sahara, only lived around the oases. His capital is Cairo.

It is one of the most populous countries of Africa. One agrees most of the population in the banks of the river Nile and in the delta where there are the zones of fertile land. Almost the half of the Egyptians they live in urban areas, especially in the centers densely filled with Cairo and Alexandria.

Egypt is famous for his ancient civilization and his monuments, as the pyramids and the great sphinx; Luxor's southern city contains a great number of ancient, such remains as Karnak's temple and the Valley of the Kings. Today Egypt is a political and cultural important center of the Near East.

The Earth was formed it does approximately 4.650 million years, together with the whole Solar System. Though the most ancient stones of the Earth do not have any more than 4.000 million years, the meteorites, which correspond geologically with the nucleus of the Earth, give dates of approximately 4.500 million years, and the crystallization of the nucleus and of the precursor bodies of the meteorites, it is believed that it happened at the same time, approximately 150 million years after the Earth and the Solar System be forming.

After becoming condensed from the cosmic dust and the gas by means of the gravitational attraction, the Earth was almost homogeneous and cold enough. But the continued contraction of materials and the radioactivity of some of the heaviest elements did that was warming up.

Later, it began to fuse under the influence of the gravity, producing the differentiation between the bark, the mantle and the nucleus, with the most light silicates moving up to form the bark and the mantle and the heaviest elements, especially the iron and the nickel, falling down towards the center of the Earth to form the nucleus.

At the same time, the eruption of the numerous volcanoes, it provoked the steam exit and volatile and light gases. Some of them were caught by the gravity of the Earth and they formed the primitive atmosphere, whereas the water steam condensed formed the first oceans.

EGYPT

The Egyptian civilization is the one I like the most. This ancient culture was born all around the Nile, the longest river in the World and it allowed life there. It’s known that there wouldn’t be life if Nile wasn’t there.

Surrounding this river there were wildlife and Egyptians used to extract minerals, grew vegetables and cereals and slaves and peasant farmers spent days carrying enormous blocks of rock. Hundreds and hundreds men died for build those colossal pyramids which symbolized the joint between sky and earth. They had to make sure that stones fit one with others and they had to be aligned with the stars. Lining up stones had a meant, and this meant was “Knowledge and Organization”.
In my point of view Egyptians have been a reference to us not only in art but also in maths, science, astrology and the creation of our 24 hour-day and 365 day-year. The birth of this wise civilization made possible the apparition and the extension of much knowledge and we have to be grateful to them.

What’s more, I’d like to remark the importance that they gave to god. They believed that Ra, the sun’s God created everything. They weren’t worried about death because most people didn’t use to enjoy life. Moreover they felt that death was their salvation.

Many explorers had tried to discover many tombs and treasures. Some of them have failed but many have succeeded. It’s worthy to mention Howard Carter who worked very hard but finally his work was compensated. He found out the Tutankhamen’s tomb. This vault was full of wonderful things and gold.

First of all I would like to explain the content of this great video of the Earth’s creation and how life’s began on our planet.

Over the years the mother Earth has changed. This transformation began when the Earth separated into continents. Before this natural and amazing event, the Earth was all a big and single continent.
That’s why now the scientist can explain the existence of the same plants and animals species in two different continent separated by thousands kilometres.

At present we can madly notice the Earth’s transformation because these are smaller than before when our planet started to awaken.
In all these changes since the beginning of the Earth.
Their has existed many different kinds of living beings, an example is the dinosaurs.

In conclusion, I found it very interesting to have the opportunity to watch this video and I really appreciated that I coukd watch it in English.

In Egypt there are the longest river in the Earth, the Nile. Well, the most longer is Amazonas, but they are very similar. It starts in Burundi and it has the mouth in the Mediterranean Sea. So it has thousands kilometers. Is a interesting river because it has two parts: the white part and the blue part.
The egipcians costume is that they burial their pharaons in the pyramids, that's because now there are a lot of pyramids in Egypt. A very famous pharaon was Tutankhamen, which pyramid and his treasure was founded some years ago. Exactly in 1922. The tradition says that the pharaon has to wear a mask and his treasure has to be aroud the mummy. When a pharaon die, the people have to do a ritual, but it had to be before that the sun go down, because his gos is the Sun, God Ra.
Now, the turists can visit some pyramids and the hieroglyphs that the egypcians wrote inside the pyramids. Actually, is a country very visited for people from all the parts of the Earth.

Genesis

The World creation was 20 bilion years ago. It started with a very big explosion, the Big Bang. This explosion involved volcanos, earthquakes,... Now a days, the volcanos and the earthquakes continues, so it means that the world is in continous moviment.

First was created the Solar System, and then the planets will appear. Later, in the Earth, a planet, will appear the continents. Some years ago, the continents are only one, there are only one continent, Pangea. But later, with the Earth movements, the big continent will separate and formate the five continents.

In the Earth there are differents plates, and these can move in diferent direccions. For example, they can colise (a subduction zone), or they can separate...

Finally. appeared the life. The fisrt organism that appear was a bactery. Later, the birds, the animals and the humans will appear. The first bird appeared was from 135 milion years ago.

Now, the scientist want to study the history of the Earth, so they invented a very modern machines for doing this.

Six billion years ago there was a Supernova explosion called Big Bang: all the matter was concentrate in a point and it explote, which made the Solar System. A big cold star burned and became hot and the Earth appeared, it was moved around the Sun by the gravitatory force. Life could appear.

In the Earth there tectonic plates which have moved continents.
First, a mega continent appeared called Pangaea and it started to move because the movement of the plates. A rift between Africa and America made the Atlantic Ocean, India moved up and crashed with Asia and appeared Himalaya Mountains.

But plates are the reason of volcanoes: when an earth plate and a sea plate crash, one of them goes down and it disappears because of the hotness and its particles goes up and form volcanoes. Moreover when two sea plates crash under the sea it makes submarine volcanoes which are be able to make islands such as Iceland.
And when two earth plates crash they form mountains such as Himalaya or Alps.

Earthquakes have been made by tectonics plates, earthquakes appears when two plates crash, they make a movement underground with fatal results: buildings and cities are destroyed. Both California and Japan are places with some many earthquakes.

On the other hand, without the drift of the continents the climate has not changed, we had not dominated the world and some animals have not existed.

The reasons of the formation of our earth and the universe are still unknown, but scientists believe that it was for the explosion of the Big-Bang.
After this enormous explosion the planets formation started. Nowadays we live in the only planet where the life exists . Our more important star is the Sun, which gives us heat and light and the moon is our satellite .
But the Earth not always has had the same form . Before the continents were like now, all of them were grouped in only one continent called Pangaea .
When the continents separeted, oceans appeared and now there are a lot of distance between a continent and other one.

The Earth it also moves for the interior and volcanoes confirm it. When a volcanoe has an eruption the material that it extracts form continental platforms. Earthquakes are also produced by the movement of the Earth and they are because of the collision between two tectonic plates and they produce enormous misfortunes , for example the San Andreas fault is one of the places in the world that have had a lot of important earthquakes. Now we have got a lot of tecnology and a lot of scientists are studying this movements.
So we can see that we are in constant movement and the Earth is changing little by little so we can't know what will happen with our planet in the future and we have to help so that the Earth can continue being our world .

Genesis
Nowadays the most accepted theory of the creation of the universe is the Big-Bang. Scientists think that at begining of the days all matter was concentrated in a point of enormous density and temperature which exploted creating the universe. All matter expanded and because of the gravitatory force some parts of matter joined and formed stars and planets. When the Earth and the Moon were formed and the hot matter got cold earth layers began to develope.

Beneath the crust, plate tectonics float and crash creating geographical forms. The crust is in continuous change because of these collisions. The relief of the Earth is always changing and the crust is destroying, transforming and creating every moment. Fails like San Andreas Fail are parts in the Earth where crust is destroying. The mountains are parts of crust which have been transformed by these collisions. And volcanoes are magma which goes out from the mantle and creates new crust. Islands are frozen magma from underwater volcanoes.

The zones between two plates are more affected of these collisions than others. These areas are usually afected by earthquakes. If these earthquakes occured in the ocean they would produce a tsunami.
The collision of plates is very important to create and destroy relief, but sometimes these natural catastrophes affect millions of people and have desvastating consequences for them.

Egypt
The Egyptian civilization is one of the most important cultures of the Antiquity. Ancient Egypt was located in the river Nile valley. It was governed by pharaohs. Egyptians developed architecture, medicine, mathematics, technology, art and scripture. Architecture is impressive. They built huge pyramids without any machinery like we have today. History says that these enormous structures were built by thousands of slaves. But I don’t think so, my theory is that extraterrestrial creatures built them because I can’t explain why slaves moved 2.5-toned stones. Ancient Egypt is a mystirous culture, I know that archeologists found pictures of somethig that seems to be a bulb into a pyramid. A bulb? I thought Thomas Alva Edison invented it in 1879. So, I can’t rule out anything with regard to Egyptians.

Their religious believes were based in afterlife. To achive the peace after death, Egyptians developed burial customs to guarantee the well-being and immortality of their deads. They practised mummification and buried their deads with all necessary things to be in afterlife. Pyramides were built for pharaohs’ afterlife. They were buried with treasures, food and sometimes with subjects. All these things to arrive prepared to afterlife.

Egypt was the most advanced culture in its time. And it left us wonderful sights and it also influenced next cultures.

GENESIS

Aproximatly sis billion years ago, the Earth borned. The Earth was originated by a supernova explosion, and the gravity formed our solar system with all the planets, asteroids and stars in a small point of space.
Lots of earthquakes and volcanoes which expulsed lots of molten earth formed, when that got cold, an only continent called Pangaea. Some rifts and moviments of the Earth, formed the oceans: for exemple the Atlantic ocean was formed by a rift between Africa and America.
Million years took the Earth to separated in continents as that are as nowadays : Africa, America, Europe, Antartica and Australia.
Mountains appeared when tectonic plates crushed and the fauna, and obiously the flora came up.
The Earth is always in a continue change, because some subduction process modify the litosfere but nowadays we can know when this changes will be produced, because we have got a lot of tecnology and also studies to predict them.

The Earth

Four and a half billion years ago there were lots of volcanoes that expulsed molten earth at the crusted and it got cold. There were also lots of earthquakes that produced the emergency of the continents from the oceans, life developed.
First of all, all the land was together forming a super-continent called Pangaea yet, it was parted by a rift between America and Africa while the Atlàntic borner.
That separation of the continents made possible the diversity of animals and plants on our planet.
The Earth is always changing because as the new plate is formed the old one is destroyed, that process is called subduction.
Two examples of these changes are the middle oceans ridges that expelled magma and created volcanic islands, or the tectonic plates that crushed and formed mountains like the Himalayas.
But the Earth’s changes are unpredictable and dangerous, like the example of the Minoan civilization in Greece, that was destroyed by a volcano. Fortunately, nowadays we can predict the Earthquakes and some volcano eruptions.We’ve studied the interior of the Earth and now we now how to make profit of it.

Egypt

Egypt is one of the most ancient civilizations on the world. It was always protected by his deserts and its people could live there because in Egypt they have the longest river in the world: the Nile. It crosses half of Africa, it travels around 4,000 miles long and all the people grew vegetables, wheat… near the Nile.
Egypt is also famous for its monuments, like pyramids. Pyramids are big stone monuments. For example, Giza’s pyramids. They are more than 4000 years old, more than 500 feet hight and they were built with more than 50 tones of stones.
Pyramids were a mystical link between the Earth and the sky, and also they were enormous tombs for the pharaohs (sons of Ra, the god of the Sun), pharaohs were considered living gods on the Earth.
The Egyptians hid in the pyramids all the treasures and food that the pharaohs needed to complete their travel to the new life.
It is for that reason that lots of people got into the tombs and stole the treasures, so the pharaohs started to build small tombs.
In 1922, Howard Carter found one of the most important tombs in the world, Tutankhamen's. It was full of valuable objects, and all was intact.
So in my opinion, in Egypt there are lots of things that could help us to know more about ancient civilizations.

Today I am inspired, so I am going to write a poem...

Can be watched In the darkness,
Also in the lightness,
in front of a mind that less,
because have lot of changes.
Is so a side you know,
you see, you feel,
Gidding you to follow,
te path of steel,
our nations make,
For a better world,
But only is a fake,
That is hidded back of words.

Only can be better,
in the garden of the freedom,
Only can be better,
if we do something,
Only can be better,
knowing what really,
Is happening,
because is a truth,
that is killing,
our world, the Earth.

The First Post

Hello people!
This is our new blog and I hope we will learn more about us and our hobbies.
It is a good idea to write a blog, we can write our essays or homework.
It will be a magnificent blog.

The genesis

In the beginning, nothing existed. A lot of billion years ago (we still don't know when) Big Bang occurred. A big explosion that was why all the materia was concentratred in a very little point in space. This explosion produced an alteration where all the materia was expulsed into outer space and the universe was born!
Our galaxy, the Milky Way started from a gas mass giving form first, to the big sun and then, with the collision of the asteroids that where "floating" in space, the plantets took form.
One of those planets was the Earth.
The Earth at the start was an incandescent ball. The temperature in the planet was too high and with the passing of years the newborn planet became colder.
