Can zoos help to protect endangered species?

Nowadays there is a lot of controversy in whether animals should be kept in zoos, in particular those which are in danger of extinction. Whereas some people defend the zoos as a place for protecting them, others think it's a way of cutting down their rights, such as freedom.

On the one hand, zoos can help animals to reproduce safely and consequently, they increase the number of these animals over the world. For instance, pandas have successfully reproduced in zoos worldwide. Not only are they aided in reproduction, they are also protected from their threatening predators. In addition, a lot of species have been saved by zoologists, whereas if we didn't have zoos, a lot of species would disappear.

On the other hand, endangered species are kept in artificial environments and, what is more, in cages. Some people think that animals have the same rights as people, nevertheless, what we do is to cage them as if we were superior to them and we had the right of putting them in cages. Furthermore, despite the fact that we know animals don't like being caged, we keep doing it only because we want our children to look at them.

In my opinion, the best way to preserve animals in danger would be to provide them a place to live such as a wildlife park, where zoologists would help these species while they would live in a non-artificial habitat.

Can zoos help to protect endangered species?

All species are endangered. For example the polar bear. Humans don’t know what problems will be a lot of specie4s are endangered to extinguish.
A lot of people think that zoos are a way for protect the animals or endangered species. Other people think that zoos exposer endangered species to be seen by people.
In my opinion zoos are only form to maltreat the animals. They take these species and put it in small cages feeling it bad. These animals are not used to live in these conditions.
I think that to salve these problem zoos wouldn’t take endangered species. And the rest of people would have find solutions or find the factors which do that species becoming in endangered species and don’t do it.
If each person brings a little granite sand, the problem will be solved.

Can zoos help to protect endangered species?

Many people go to the zoos and see diferent animals. That's good because the children see diferent animals but are the animals a good life into their cage? And they have the sufficient space?

On the one hand, zoos are very important for the children to get an oportunity to see animals which they don't ever seen, like bears, penguins, etc. And zoos are one of the solutions to save the animals which are in extinction.
Finally and another reason is that zoos can provided a place for animals to reproduce him and don't have problems to find food, some water and a place for sleeping.

On the other hand, animal in zoos have a small artificial environment to move than in their natural habitat, and they don't have the sufficient space for walking and running. An another thing is that in zoos animals are tired to see people all the day.

Finally, In my opinion, I think zoos are good for people and are good for animals which are in extinction.

Cab zoos help to protect endangered species?

I think that zoos help protect endangered species.

On one hand, animals cab live in a habitat similar to his, where it provides food and satisfy all they need. In addition, they are protected from the dangers of living in nature. One advantage is also that all animals are of the sane species grouped tofether and this creates a better coexistence.

On the other hand, animals are made to lives in nature as it comes. Being locked in a zoo are causing a lack of freedom and also lose their qualities.

These two views are in many cases issues that provoke discussion, however, it is an interesting topic to discuss in deph.

Genesis

Genesis, the documentary we last watched, was about the creation of the world. It explained the creation of the solar system and specifically the Earth.

The video explained the theory of tectonic plates. These plates give movement to the Earth, separating some continents and putting others together, creating new land and destroying old land. As in the video, there are four types of plates, the ones under the ocean, the ones which destroy land, others that produce powerful earthquakes and finally these between two continental plates, forming big mountain ranges, such as Alps. So the Earth has changed since its creation and it keeps doing it.

In my opinion, even the topic was quite interesting, I didn't like the documentary. This is because the photography wasn't amazing enough and nearly all what the video says I knew it before. So it wasn't as interesting as the documentary of Egypt.

The last documentary

I don't like that film so much. Because the pictures appeared very slow and that was a little bit bored. About the subject of the film was so different to my batxillerat and I had difficulties for understand some words. Furthermore, the voice which spoke had the same volume during the film and the music was good for the documentary but I prefer an other type of music.

I want to do a suggestion: I like see a chapter about friends or gossip girl, in my opinion is a good way for learn english and enjoy in the same time.

Experimenting on animals

I'm agree with used animals for medical research and for curing illness, but I don't agree with used the animals for research in cosmetics, perfums ...because I thik the animals have got a rights.
In my opinion there are very reasons tosupport my opinion for exemple use the animals in medical research can curing very illness ad genetic problems for the mankind, in conclusion it save humans lives. But I think we use the animals only formedical research because researching in cosmetics isn't important and the animals suffer.
The animals have got a rights, for this reason, they musn' use the animals in cosmetics experiments.
In conclusion they must use the animalsonly in medical research and the people must research others models for experimentions.

USING ANIMALS IN EXPERIMENTS

Is horrible to experience with an alive animal, because it is an alive being and also sufre and we.

Experience with an alive animal is inhuman and with this can not us consider a species with feelings. The experiments with animals, sometimes give resulted that they do not cure illnesses and die people. All the animals are not equal, therefore, perhaps to a mouse does him effect but to us or to a dog, no. Also, perhaps, will have to do experiments with humans, but, would arrive to be a scandal and would be a chaos.

Therefore, create that, afterwards all the one who have said, the solution still is not definite, but if the experiments practised with ill animals, to point to die, could check. But, follow saying that we would be in the same case that before. And if you practise with people ( voluntary ) to point to die or with an illness incurable, would open the doors to the suicide.
